It wasn't simply any Friday. It wasn't even just Good Friday.
On Friday, April 19th, Ezra and Sarah married on the big orange boat, traveling from Staten Island to Manhattan.
I was extremely excited when they informed me of their ceremony location. While it certainly included more logistical planning than a traditional wedding, it also held the potential for a big return.
For weeks prior, I checked the weather feverishly. Every single check, the app read rain. I planned for the weather, taking rain gear for both myself and the camera. I took research treks across New York Harbor, scoping out the layouts of the boats.
On the morning of the 19th, the weather shifted. The rain would hold out. We were going to be okay.
Ezra and Sarah were married on the ferry, surrounded by their closest friends and family. They proceeded to ride the Glass Carousel in Battery Park, while Louis Armstrong's music played in the background. It was a magical and lovely day and their connection and love could be felt throughout.
There were so many images that I loved from their big day and here are just a few.
